Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka is an American-British sitarist and musician. She won the British House of Commons' Shield, which is the youngest and first female recipient. Apart from receiving nine Grammy nominations She was also the first musician of Indian origin to present at and perform in the live ceremony. Anoushka is a emerging star of Indian sitar. She is the student and daughter of Ravi Shankar. She was born in 1982 in London. Her early years were split between London and New Delhi.
